Not every lighting project is about a building. Sometimes the canvas is a work of art — and the lighting has to disappear into the background while making everything else glow.

TSLC deployed HB40HP RGBW wall wash fixtures to illuminate Mikael Owunna's Anatomy of the Human in Pittsburgh's Pop Park, one of five original public artworks commissioned as part of The Andy Warhol Museum's 10-year cultural and economic development plan to transform the North Shore.

The result is a precise, even wash of light that traces every contour of Owunna's ultraviolet photography across 94 feet of mural wall — vivid, dramatic, and completely true to the artist's intent. This is what lighting looks like when it serves the work, not itself.
