1587 Prime is the flagship steakhouse co-founded by Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce — its name a nod to their iconic jersey numbers — in partnership with hospitality group Noble 33. Located at 1500 Baltimore Ave in the heart of downtown Kansas City, the restaurant specializes in prime beef, American Wagyu, and Japanese A5 Wagyu, complemented by chef-driven preparations, signature sauces, and a handcrafted cocktail program. Designed for elevated dining, private celebrations, and special nights out, 1587 Prime blends modern steakhouse tradition with live music and a dynamic atmosphere that reflects the energy of the city itself.

The Smart Lighting Company specified the HB50B linear LED fixtures to illuminate the dramatic glass and metal façade, creating a striking first impression from the street. At River Gorge Ranch, the HB40HP RGBW fixtures using a 30°x60° beam angle were strategically deployed to produce striking wall wash effects on ceilings and structural surfaces, yielding consistent, saturated light that enhances architectural features and transforms event spaces after dark. Fixtures were mounted in a powder coated housing with 6″ extended arms. Their precision optics and robust build ensure smooth and uniform illumination, giving every event — from elegant receptions to lively celebrations — a memorable and professionally lit atmosphere.

The Burbank Empire Center is one of Southern California's premier open-air retail destinations, anchored by major national retailers and drawing heavy foot and vehicle traffic nightly. Its signature architectural feature — a series of dramatic X-braced structural steel columns supporting an expansive canopy along the main retail frontage — provided the perfect canvas for a high-impact RGB lighting installation.

This Miramar retail development presented two distinct but equally demanding lighting challenges — and TSLC delivered on both.

Along the main retail frontage, the goal was straightforward and uncompromising: high-intensity illumination of the continuous fascia band running the full length of the building. The result is a crisp, bright roofline band that defines the building's profile against the night sky, creates strong visual presence from the parking lot, and frames the row of mature palms along the façade in dramatic silhouette. Clean, commercial, and highly effective.

The second challenge was more nuanced — illuminating a large-scale, full-color wildlife mural wrapping the side elevation of the building. This required even, color-accurate coverage across a wide, multi-panel artwork featuring rich blues, golds, and earth tones. The lighting renders the mural with full fidelity after dark, turning what would otherwise be a blank wall into a vivid community landmark visible from the adjacent walkway and parking areas.

LA Live is one of Los Angeles' most prominent entertainment and dining destinations, anchored by the Crypto.com Arena and surrounded by a bustling outdoor plaza that draws thousands of visitors nightly for concerts, games, and events. TSLC supplied its 1.9" diameter illuminated round handrail in 316 stainless steel to line the building's ADA accessibility ramp at the rear entrance. The Four Seasons Hotel Denver sets the standard for luxury hospitality in the Rocky Mountain region, and its event spaces are no exception. When the property sought to elevate the ambiance of its grand ballroom complex, they turned to CT Lighting and TSLC for an architectural lighting solution that could match the hotel's reputation for refined, adaptable elegance.
