Story

The Burbank Empire Center is one of Southern California's premier open-air retail destinations, anchored by major national retailers and drawing heavy foot and vehicle traffic nightly. Its signature architectural feature — a series of dramatic X-braced structural steel columns supporting an expansive canopy along the main retail frontage — provided the perfect canvas for a high-impact RGB lighting installation.

TSLC supplied HB40HP RGB fixtures to illuminate the columns and underside of the canopy structure, turning the center's most distinctive architectural elements into vivid, color-dynamic landmarks. The installation wraps each column in light from base to beam, with color saturating the full depth of the X-brace geometry and bleeding upward into the canopy soffit — creating a layered glow effect that reads dramatically from across the parking lot.

Full RGB capability means the property can shift the entire look for seasons, events, or occasions — from the rich purple shown in the wide-angle view to the bold red-white-and-blue patriotic display captured in the column detail shot. A single fixture platform. Endless creative range.
