Taco Bell Cantina
West Hollywood, CA
Story
The Taco Bell Cantina concept represents a bold evolution of the brand — part restaurant, part bar, part entertainment venue. This location's interior design leans fully into that identity, with an exposed industrial ceiling, arched architectural elements, full-service bar, and a theatrical marquee above the order counter.
The lighting needed to match that energy.
TSLC supplied HB3016i RGBW fixtures to illuminate the dramatic arched ceiling, washing it in deep, saturated color that shifts the entire mood of the space. The rich red and magenta tones shown here create a lounge-like atmosphere that's visible from both inside the dining area and through the full-height glass storefront — turning the ceiling itself into a street-level visual draw.
The HB3016i's compact form factor made it the right call for this application — fitting cleanly into the narrow ceiling geometry without competing with the space's existing design elements. AC-powered with integral drivers and self-addressing capability, the fixtures simplified installation significantly while still delivering full RGBW color performance and multiple optic options for precise wall-wash and grazing coverage.
The result is an interior that feels more like an upscale entertainment venue than a quick-service restaurant — which is exactly the point.
