Old Navy
New York, NY
Story
Herald Square is one of the most competitive retail corridors in the world — steps from Macy's flagship, surrounded by major national brands, and flooded with foot traffic around the clock. In this environment, façade lighting isn't just aesthetic — it's a critical tool for visibility, identity, and drawing customers through the door.
TSLC supplied HB3014i fixtures to frame the multi-story arched window grid that defines Old Navy's Herald Square flagship. Running the fixture along each window mullion creates a bold, illuminated grid pattern across the entire upper façade — a graphic lighting treatment that gives the building unmistakable presence on the block and makes the store instantly identifiable from a distance on one of Manhattan's busiest streets.
The HB3014i's slim, integrated profile allows it to sit cleanly within the window framing architecture without disrupting the building's classic lines — delivering maximum visual impact with a completely concealed installation. The result is a façade that competes confidently in one of the world's most demanding retail environments.
Bright enough for Broadway. Refined enough for the architecture.
